During our visit to Taiwan last week, we received a call from our Friends of the Nevada State Museum Las Vegas, soliciting our interest in sharing our “Retirement Bucket List” of international travel experiences for their April 2024 Meeting with their patrons. With a 15-hour flight from Taipei to San Francisco, we created a multi-media presentation covering 12 countries, from the ancient wonders of Afghanistan and Egypt to the serene landscapes of the Kingdom of Bhutan, India/Nepal, Myanmar, and Indochina. We hope this multimedia presentation will take the museum’s patrons to an unforgettable exploration of diverse cultures, breathtaking natural beauty, and life-changing discoveries.
